Who we are

PlantBulbShop is an online retailer of flower bulbs, corms, tubers and bare roots. For any privacy question, or to exercise a right described below, email plantbulbshop@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Order information: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (where a carrier requires it), and the items you ordered.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your email address, order history and saved addresses.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We receive a transaction reference and the last four digits of the card — never the full card number, which never reaches our servers.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring URL, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: emails, contact-form messages and support requests you send us.

Why we use it

  • To process, pack, ship and support your order, and to handle returns under our guarantee.
  • To send transactional emails: order confirmation, dispatch notices, tracking and delivery updates.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep records required for tax and accounting.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, using aggregated analytics.
  • To show relevant advertising on third-party platforms, where you have consented or where permitted by law.

Cookies and advertising

Essential cookies keep your cart and session working. Analytics and advertising cookies (including the Meta pixel used by our Facebook integration) help us measure campaigns and show products you have viewed. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will break checkout. Where consent is required by law, advertising cookies are only set after you accept.

Who we share data with

We share only what is necessary with: our payment processor; shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, so your parcel can be delivered; email and hosting providers; and analytics and advertising platforms. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires. Support emails are kept for two years. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it, unless we must retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of California may also request disclosure of the categories of information collected; we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Security and changes
